أبلغت الولايات المتحدة الخميس روسيا بأنها لن تعود إلى اتفاق للحد من التسلح يسمح بتسيير رحلات جوية غير مسلحة فوق عشرات الدول الموقعة على الاتفاق.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية إن “انتهاكات روسيا قوضت” معاهدة السماوات المفتوحة. وأضافت أن موسكو لم تمتثل لبنود المعاهدة.
وتنفي روسيا هذه المزاعم. ومن المتوقع أن تنسحب روسيا من المعاهدة هذا العام.
