سلطت دعوى قضائية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية مرفوعة على ولي العهد السعودي، الأمير محمد بن سلمان، بشأن مصفاة نفط في البحر الكاريبي، الضوء بشكل غير متوقع على قضية أخرى، وهي “اختفاء” ولي العهد السابق، محمد بن نايف، وفقا لتقرير مفصل لوكالة فرانس برس للأنباء.
ولم يُشاهد محمد بن نايف، منذ احتجازه في مارس/آذار العام الماضي، بعد أن عزله ابن عمه الأمير محمد بن سلمان من منصبه عام 2017.
وشغل محمد بن نايف، الذي كان يُنظر إليه منذ فترة طويلة على أنه الحليف السعودي الأكثر ثقة لوكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأمريكية، منصب وزير الداخلية منذ عام 2012، قبل أن يصبح ولي العهد بعد ذلك بثلاث سنوات.
وأشارت الدعوى إلى جهود الحكومة بشأن عدم الكشف عن مكان وجوده، مع وثائق تظهر أن ولي العهد السابق المحتجز كانت تمثّله شركة محاماة أمريكية تعمل لصالح منافسه، الأمير محمد بن سلمان.
وكان رجل الأعمال السعودي، نادر تركي الدوسري، الممنوع من مغادرة المملكة مع أفراد أسرته، هو من رفع الدعوى القضائية، بحسب رسائل وجهها محاميه إلى الرئيس الأمريكي، جو بايدن، ومسؤولين أمريكيين آخرين.
