Akron Childrenn’s Hospital is offering free health and wellness screenings, including sports physicals, on Saturday, July 23 at the John S. Knight Center, 77 E. Mill St., Akron.
Screenings for children ages 18 and younger will be offered from 10 a.m.-noon and from 1-3 p.m. The event will feature games and activities, along with free school and hygiene supplies, according to a news release.
Screenings offered include:
- Asthma screenings
- Blood pressure screenings
- Immunizations
- Sports physicals
- Vision screenings
- Yearly checkups
