CLEVELAND, Ohio — Banks in Cleveland and Lyndhurst were robbed Wednesday, the second and third reported bank robberies in two days, according to the Cleveland Division of the FBI.
At noon, a man entered the Huntington Bank branch at 4260 Ridge Road in Cleveland. The suspect waited in line, then went to the teller and asked to make a withdrawal. The worker turned to get a withdrawal slip, then turned around to find the suspect pointing a gun and making threats, the FBI says. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
Witnesses say the suspect is 5-foot-8 to 6-foot and about 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt with lettering on the front and back, dark sweat pants, a dark-colored beanie, and a white hospital-style mask.
