The fall weather that everyone has been hoping for arrives Monday in Northeast Ohio and will hang around for the first part of the week.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service say the region should get plenty of sunshine Monday, with highs in the low 60s. The wind will be mild, between 6 and 11 mph.
A few clouds will move in overnight as temps drop to the low 40s. It could get colder in some low-lying areas, so there is a frost advisory in effect for parts of Northeast Ohio from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m., including Ashtabula, Geauga, Huron, Lorain, Mahoning, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit and Trumbull counties.
Meanwhile, the sunny weather will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday, with highs in the mid-60s Tuesday and the low 70s on Wednesday. Temperatures again will reach the low 70s Thursday with partly sunny skies, but rain arrives overnight and it will bring cooler temperatures for the weekend.
