Officers Assist Disabled Motorist; Discover Driving Violation

On September 2, Gates Mills police responded to a report of a vehicle that had broken down along the roadside. Upon arrival, officers found a Cleveland man in need of assistance with his car, which required a jump-start to get it running again.

The officers promptly helped the motorist get his vehicle back in working condition. However, their assistance uncovered a more serious issue. During the process of identifying the driver, police learned that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
