A teenage boy was shot and killed Tuesday in the city’s Cudell neighborhood, police said.
Michael B. White, 14, of Cleveland died about 11:55 p.m. When officers arrived in the 8800 block of Detroit Avenue, they found the teen in a courtyard with several gunshots to his body, according to police and the office of the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.
Officers administered first aid until paramedics arrived. Michael was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives from the city’s homicide unit are investigating.
Police said several shots were fired amid a large fight. Police have not identified any suspects.
