AKRON, Ohio – Tickets for the 2022 Bridgestone Senior Players Championship are for sale.
The tournament is set to be played at Firestone Country Club Wednesday, July 6, through Sunday, July 10. Defending champion Steve Stricker will compete against Ernie Els, Fred Couples, Bernhard Langer, Jim Furyk and others.
Organizers are turning the golf event into a mini festival billed as “Summerfest at Firestone.” Food trucks and concerts will be part of the festivities.
Wednesday’s practice-round tickets are $10. Competition-round tickets – Thursday through Sunday – start at $15.
Admission after 2 p.m. on Saturday is $5 in advance, allowing fans to see leaders on the back nine and a concert by The Vindys near the 18th green.
Admission after 2 p.m. Sunday is free and includes an Akron Symphony Orchestra concert on the driving range, space permitting, following the trophy ceremony.
Admission for fans 18 and under are included with a ticketed adult. Free parking on Harrington Road includes three-minute bus ride to the course.
