رفع مكتب الادعاء العام في العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن دعوى قضائية ضد شركة أمازون لمزاعم بأنها تسيء استغلال موقعها كعملاق للبيع بالتجزئة.
وتفيد حيثيات القضية، التي رُفِعت الثلاثاء، بأن استحواذ الشركة على ما يصل إلى 70 في المئة من المبيعات عبر الإنترنت داخل الولايات المتحدة يؤدي إلى فرض أسعار أعلى على العملاء.
وجاء في حيثيات القضية أن “منصة أمازون للبيع بالتجزئة عبر الإنترنت تستفيد من، وتحظى بحماية، ممارسات أمازون التجارية المناهضة للتنافسية”.
وتتهم الدعوى، التي رفعها كارل راسين المدعي العام في العاصمة واشنطن، أمازون بفرض رسوم على البائعين الخارجيين في موقعها تصل إلى 40 في المئة من سعر المُنتج الأصلي، إضافة إلى منعهم من البيع بأسعار أقل عبر منصات أخرى.
