قالت منظمة العفو الدولية إن الصين ترتكب جرائم ضد الإنسانية في إقليم شينجيانغ الذي تقطنه أقلية الإيغور المسلمة وغيرها من الأقليات المسلمة.
وفي تقرير نُشر الخميس، حثت المنظمة الحقوقية الأمم المتحدة على التحقيق في الأمر.
وقالت العفو الدولية إن الصين تخضِع الإيغور، والكازاخ، وغيرهما من الأقليات المسلمة في الإقليم الواقع شمال غربي البلاد لاعتقالات جماعية، ورقابة صارمة، وتعذيب.
واتهمت الأمينة العامة للمنظمة أغنيس كالامارد السلطات الصينية بخلق “واقع جحيمي على نطاق واسع.
وقالت كالامارد: “أمر صادم لضمير الإنسانية إخضاع هذه الأعداد الغفيرة من البشر لعمليات غسيل دماغ، وتعذيب، وغيرها من المعاملات المهينة في معسكرات اعتقال، حيث يعيش ملايين في خوف وتحت رقابة شديدة”.
