A recent study suggests that engaging in a brief session of aerobic exercise or taking a 90-minute nap can significantly enhance cognitive function after experiencing a sleepless night. Researchers from McGill University found that these interventions can help counteract some of the negative effects associated with sleep deprivation.
The research focused on healthy young adults who had been awake for 30 consecutive hours. Participants who either exercised for 20 minutes or napped showed remarkable improvements in memory performance compared to those who did not receive any intervention.
